Job Summary:

At PARAM INDUSTRIES, we are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, coaching and instructing apprentices, and supervising other workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the operation and maintenance of sewing equipment
  • Supervise other workers to ensure compliance with safety protocols and production standards
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, and estimate costs and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and commission systems and components
  • Install machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in mechanical systems fabricating or sewing equipment maintenance

Work Details:
