Job Summary

GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced AZ Operator to provide transportation services between customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate motorized vehicles to transport organic waste between client locations.
  • Accurately complete various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, and log books, to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems are operated in accordance with Company standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, including TDGA, Reg. 347/558, WMHIS, MTO regulations, and NMA.
  • Adhere to Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • AZ license with current abstracts and CVOR (no demerits).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and think proactively.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
