Occupational Therapist

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Enhanced Care Program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct and indirect specialized occupational therapy services to clients using recognized occupational therapy tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct client assessments, develop service plans, and provide group and individual interventions to promote functional independence and occupational performance.
- Collaborate with the care team, including clients, families, and other professionals, to determine recovery priorities and goals.
- Prescribe and recommend specialized and adaptive aids and equipment to clients for activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement education programs for clients and staff on independent living skills and occupational performance.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to ensure high-quality services.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Two years' recent related experience working in a community setting.
- Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
This position may be required to work at more than one location within an assigned geographical area.
