Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at JERRY WAKEFIELD CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various aspects of construction projects, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces
