LITTLE FOOTPRINTS ACADEMY (GUILDFORD) INC. is seeking a talented: Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team.


This role is responsible for developing and implementing high-quality child-care programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and needs.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development through storytelling, teaching songs, and exploring local points of interest.
  • Encourage children's creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities that promote socialization and learning.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.

Requirements:



  • Availability for the advertised start date.
  • Licence to work in Canada.
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Required certifications.
