Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work with our Nursing Resource Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a variety of staff, patients, and families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in all Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of staff, patients, and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification or demonstrated competency
  • Recent Medical and/or Surgical experience is mandatory
  • Coronary Care I or actively pursuing the Coronary Care Certification is an asset
  • Commitment to complete Coronary Care II within 12 months of starting on the unit is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent physical assessment skills
  • Good patient/family teaching skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively/collaboratively in a team environment
