Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Summary:

MGR Workforce is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to drive our machining processes and produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Using CAD/CAM software to generate CNC programs for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
  • Tool Selection and Optimization: Selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material properties, part geometry, and machine capabilities.
  • Setup and Testing: Setting up CNC machines and conducting test runs to verify program accuracy and optimize machining parameters.
  • Quality Assurance: Performing in-process inspections and using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identifying and resolving machining issues, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or programming errors.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of CNC programs, tooling specifications, setup instructions, and production reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, machining technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and CNC machine operation.
