**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team at Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing essential support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings and within the community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implementing services within the community to enhance individual potential and mitigate risk.
  • Teaching situational daily living skills to enable individuals to achieve independence.
  • Collaborating with primary caregivers and case coordinators to ensure seamless support and updates.

**Requirements:**

  • A 2-year Community College diploma in a relevant field (BST, DSW, CYW preferred).
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of best practices for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
