Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food products.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational performance.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial planning and control.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout their shift.
