About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Information Systems Specialist to join our team at Rainbook Enterprise Inc. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our computer databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Database Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain computer databases to ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity.
  2. Requirements Documentation: Document customers' requirements for projects to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
  3. Advice and Guidance: Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools and best practices.
  4. Database Design and Development: Design and develop databases to meet business needs and ensure data consistency.
  5. Data Analysis: Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  6. Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security.
  7. Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  8. Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data to ensure business continuity.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a flexible work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
