Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at Joayo Therapy. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, assessing their needs, and providing personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests, and propose treatment plans.
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, and maintain records of treatments given.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body, and suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience an asset.
