Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude.
