Job Title: Plastering Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plastering Team Lead to oversee the plastering operations at GTA Concrete Products Supply Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising workers and projects, preparing production reports, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Estimate costs and materials to optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support operations.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plastering operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
