Job DescriptionThe Nurse II provides comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This includes active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba, as well as current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurse Act of Manitoba.
  • Follow the Standards of Practice (CRNM or CRPNM).
  • Meet entry-level competencies for RNs or RPNs.
  • Adhere to the Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position offered by PMH.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should possess excellent clinical nursing skills and concepts, as well as effective problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. You must also be able to work independently and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and clients.
