Our Regional Managers provide accountable leadership and proactive management of PRT nurseries, ensuring our strategy execution is successfully aligned with nursery-level operational plans and performance. As a Senior Horticultural Leader, you'll oversee the safe well-being and development of our People, maximizing the positive customer experience, and driving operational efficiency.

About the Role

This senior position will have performance accountability for our Armstrong, Juniper Beach, Coldstream, Summerland, and Skimikin BC teams. You'll work seamlessly with our Customer Experience teams and be expected to be located out of one of these nursery locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage crop production teams to ensure crops meet customer specifications and reliability.
  • Analyze and think strategically, problem solve, and conduct root cause analysis to drive business improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in crop production.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills with demonstrated career success in delivering upon accountabilities.
  • Ability to analyze and work with financial data to generate decision-making quality of information.
  • A valid driver's license and passport.
