We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our Footwear Department at Sport Chek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and coaching sessions to ensure team members are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Sport Chek remains competitive.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales management experience, preferably in a footwear department.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
