Roadway Engineering Lead

Transforming Transportation in Western Canada
GHD is seeking a seasoned Roadway Engineering Lead to join our Western Canada Transportation Group. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your technical expertise and client relationships to win and deliver projects locally, regionally, and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a portfolio of projects and clients
- Contribute to and lead business and strategic development initiatives for regional objectives and targeted client programming
- Provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise, and mentorship to the team and clients
- Oversee the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects led by the Transportation group
- Experience with traditional and alternative project delivery
- Contribute to staff development and recruitment
- Champion project delivery best practices, quality, and safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience in transportation in Western Canada
- Professional Engineer/Technologist registered or eligible for registration in Alberta
- Experience with corporate strategic planning initiatives and successful strategy development
- Demonstrated understanding of the Transportation Market in Western Canada and industry trends
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership capabilities in personnel management, decision making, change management, employee development, performance management, and team building
- Strong business acumen and commercial skills
- Agile self-starter with a proactive, strategic, and creative approach
- Outstanding client engagement and relationship skills
- Ability to work under conflicting responsibilities, meet deadlines, and manage processes
- Willingness and ability to travel
