Contract Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join our team at Artech LLC. As a Contract Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our client located in Markham, Ontario.

This is a contract and hybrid position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Contracting & Pricing, with a strong background in MS Excel and other business intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate contract maintenance changes, including expiry, add-on, and price changes, and recommend course of action based on investigation and analysis.
  • Produce customer-facing documentation outlining changes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implement complete contract price data management, ensuring new contracts meet established requirements and all pertinent files are current and filed appropriately.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical reasoning to support contracting decision making.
  • Perform data compilation and analysis using analytical tools and systems with consistent accuracy.
  • Ensure controls are followed and appropriate approvals are documented.
  • Maintain SOX and HCC documentation as required.
  • Investigate pricing discrepancies until resolution, assessing priority to reduce revenue impacts and process inefficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a university degree in Business or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Contracting & Pricing or related business experience within Pharmaceutical or medical devices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with outstanding customer service orientation.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and strong use of MS Word, MS Outlook, SAP (ERP), and other desktop applications.
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset.
