Job Summary

Sky High Plumbing and Heating Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Preparation of Tenders and Quotations: Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for clients.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Joining: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervision and Team Management: Supervise other workers and schedule personnel, tools, and equipment.
  • Estimation and Measurement: Estimate costs and materials, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English.
  • Work Environment: Confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various locations.
  • Work Setting: Residential, construction sites, and various locations.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
