Merchandising Specialist - Flowers and Plants

Are you looking for a role that combines your passion for flowers and plants with your business acumen? Do you enjoy working independently and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team at Brand Momentum.

About the Position

We are currently looking for a Merchandising Specialist to work independently at multiple retail locations for approximately 20-25 hours per week. You will be responsible for overseeing the floral and plant displays at these locations, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain a high level of quality in your work. Previous experience as a merchandiser in a supermarket is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performing merchandising tasks at multiple retail stores
  • Maintaining sections, including restocking and ensuring dead plants are removed
  • Addressing any out-of-stock issues
  • Cleaning sections, including dusting display fixtures
  • Watering plants and flowers
  • Submitting daily visit reports and call reports
  • Visiting stores three times a week
  • Creating and maintaining a good relationship with store managers
  • Removing dead leaves and blooms
  • Removing unsalable products
  • Taking photos of displays

Requirements

Your home location should be within 10 kilometers of our retail store. You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and have a smartphone with access to the internet.
