At East Ridge Family Dental, we're seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team in Owen Sound.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and provide personalized recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist dentists during procedures as needed, maintaining a safe and organized operatory environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and foster a positive, supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with dental office management software, preferably Tracker.
