Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Software Engineering to join our small fast-paced agile scrum team. As a key contributor, you will have the opportunity to let your ideas and talents flourish, striving towards building better software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a small team of 3-4 software developers.
  • Good command of the Java language and familiarity with functional style of programming.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
  • Experience in SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, or similar) is essential.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring end-to-end web applications and utilizing tools like Gradle, Maven, and/or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Good command of a Linux environment.
  • Master the frameworks, languages, tools, and services used.
  • Deliver software solutions for Impact platform with awareness of customer needs.
  • Building, maintaining, and monitoring scalable software that processes thousands of events per second in order to solve complex business problems.
Requirements
  • Onsite in Victoria or Vancouver with roles being open to candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and are tax residents of Canada.
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $147,000 CAD per year, eligibility to receive additional variable bonus contingent on Company performance, eligibility to receive equity award.
