We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at AVS Systems Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalworking and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Summary

The Metal Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques. This includes operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, examining welds to ensure they meet standards, and performing minor repairs on welding equipment.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering competitive compensation. We estimate the salary range for this role to be between $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using various welding techniques
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards
  • Perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
