Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing security operations at our gaming facility. The successful candidate will provide input on performance evaluations, assist with implementing new security initiatives, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Evaluations: Provide input for team member performance objectives and evaluations.
  • Security Operations: Monitor, document, and report internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards. Prepare electronic statements via our non-gaming record keeping system.
  • Training and Development: Mentor, coach, and train front-line security staff on best practices for the non-gaming record keeping system.
  • Timekeeping and Administration: Verify security timesheets and administer various critical security systems, including Key Control, WINPAC, SIMS, and the Threat Management System.
  • Crowd Control and Security: Oversee crowd control for special events and enforce restricted access by unauthorized persons.
  • Guest Services: Enroll guests into our Self-Exclusion Program and provide or assist with First Aid for team members and guests.
  • Property Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment by identifying and reporting risks and conditions that present safety issues for team members, guests, facility, and company assets.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years security experience in a gaming environment, with supervisory experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Must be willing to recertify every 3 years for Use of Force.
  • Skills: Ability to understand, speak, and write English; fluency in other languages an asset. Computer literacy in MS Office.
