About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our Life Sciences & Technology Division, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all tasks and activities are properly sequenced and resourced.
  • Schedule Management: Update and manage project schedules on a regular basis, incorporating changes and updates as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including coordinators, QA/QC, safety, field engineers, and superintendents to ensure that schedules are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that schedules are understood and aligned with project requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues, working with project teams to find solutions that meet project needs.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain project schedules, including as-built versus as-planned schedules, to provide a clear picture of project progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of construction scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of computer scheduling programs, including P6 and MS Projects, as well as experience working on data centre and pharmaceutical projects.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that schedules are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective communication channels.
