As a Mill Operations Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in Orano Canada's Mill maintenance team. Working closely with supervisors, you will be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing daily tasks, collaborating on planning and assessing mill maintenance, and tackling challenges with a technical eye. This position reports to the Mill Maintenance General Supervisor and involves ensuring that all data collection equipment, techniques, and procedures are accurate, and evaluating or improving plant maintenance through organized investigations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with maintenance supervisors to ensure accurate workload and priority work is scheduled for the following day.
  • Ensuring that scheduled work can be completed by considering all requirements, including scaffolding, crane, and other equipment needs.
  • Assisting in planning as required.
  • Reporting mechanical deficiencies to mill maintenance senior supervision and providing suggestions for further rectification.

The ideal candidate should possess a Red Seal Journeyperson background and industrial trade experience, with considerable maintenance experience. Strong administrative skills and maintenance aptitude are required, along with proficiency in the SAP PM module. Travel days may change depending on maintenance needs.
