Ruby on Rails Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team at IntelliPro. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with a strong focus on code quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to develop new features and improve user experiences.
  • Design and optimize database models, manage data storage and retrieval, and ensure data security.
  • Work with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code stability and quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and improve the scalability of the application.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against common web vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up to date with Ruby on Rails and web development trends, incorporating new techniques to improve workflows.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience as a software developer.
  • Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and SQL.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git version control and best practices in software development.
  • Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of web development best practices, including RESTful APIs, caching strategies, and security.
