About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer III to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web services that support millions of players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop responsive, resilient, and globally available services that meet the needs of our players.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement APIs and protocols that are consistent, formalized, and testable.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of automated tests that validate the correctness of backend services.
  • Provide technical support to game team developers and partners using our services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on coding role.
  • Experience with client/server architecture, modern front-end frameworks, and cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, RESTful web services, and containerization.
  • Experience with public cloud providers, such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to operate with autonomy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the games industry.
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin.
  • Contributions to CNCF projects or open-source tooling.
  • Experience shipping web services that scale to millions of daily users.
