Job Title: Concrete Finisher - Formwork Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Peak Concrete Design Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures. This includes checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as directing the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to work at heights and in various locations
- Team player with excellent communication skills
