Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Design Strategist for Healthcare to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for using user-centered research, strategic thinking, and design techniques to help clients realize business solutions to their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and overseeing the creation of design artifacts
  • Supporting project planning, scoping, and management of design
  • Communicating work to clients and Klick Leadership
  • Supporting development and delivery of strategic design work in senior client meetings
  • Participating in and leading customer and expert interviews
  • Communicating critical insights visually and verbally
  • Collaborating with team members across a range of disciplines
  • Engaging directly with a variety of clients across the health sector

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in strategic design, interdisciplinary design, design thinking, or related practices
  • Academic experience in a related field is an asset
  • Experience in design research through ethnography interviews, literature review, or precedent research
  • Expertise in leading concept ideation
  • Experience in design planning through ideation workshops, test design, requirement engineering, and other relevant activities
  • Experience in prototyping, service design, future thinking/foresighting
  • Experience in relevant design software, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Microsoft Office
  • Deep domain knowledge of at least one design discipline
  • A portfolio that highlights relevant expertise through approach or deliverables
  • Comfortable leading and participating in co-creational ideation and design exercises
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of comfort presenting ideas
