Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Fraud, Settlements and Commissions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with business stakeholders, architects, developers, test teams, and vendors to elicit requirements and solutions that support the evolution of our application landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business needs assessments utilizing structured requirements processes to prioritize immediate business needs and recommend options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional development teams to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for new projects, system enhancements, or process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
  • Create and maintain process flowcharts, data models, and other visual representations to illustrate current and proposed solutions.
  • Assist in designing technology solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives, status, and issues.
  • Document and present findings and recommendations to management concisely.
  • Work with various business and delivery teams to ensure well-written requirements that allow IT delivery teams to create solutions that align to the requirements.
  • Contribute to testing activities by reviewing and validating test cases, participating in testing support activities, and documenting test results.
  • Help business stakeholders prioritize and manage changing requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design high-level system architectures that meet business needs.
  • Communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the design and implementation of business solutions to multiple development teams.
  • Address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks in collaboration with security and compliance teams.
  • Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions while contributing to process improvement and organizational efficiency.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
  • Leading-edge technical knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Oracle DB, SQL Server, and Azure cloud technologies.
  • A solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), and integration methods.
  • An in-depth understanding of business processes, industry trends, and the ability to align technology solutions with long-term business goals.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
