Job Summary

The Director of Administrative Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the administrative team at Woodlands County. This role is accountable for the overall management and administration of municipal operations, ensuring the effective implementation of Council's vision and direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide positive leadership and supervision to the administrative team.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices dealing with administrative matters.
- Oversee the development and administration of the County's operating and capital budgets.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education is an asset.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within a public or private organization.
- At least 5 years of experience in an executive-level position within an organization.
- Prior municipal leadership experience or exposure is preferred.
- Experience working with a municipal Council or Governance Board is an asset.
