Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sports Store Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning and organizing all sports store activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Placing orders and tracking materials and supplies
  • Preparing reports for your supervisor as required
  • Maintaining records of distribution accounts

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Facility Coordinator to ensure seamless execution of our sports store operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and several years of experience in a related field
  • A valid Driver's License (Alberta)
  • A valid Forklift Operators certification (an asset)
  • Experience in issuing sports equipment, preparing and maintaining outdoor sports facilities, equipment maintenance/scheduling, loss prevention, inventory control, record keeping/invoicing, and event planning
  • Strong competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
  • Language proficiency in English (essential) or bilingualism in English and French (an asset)
