At William Reid, Nancy Reid, we are seeking a highly skilled Farm Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our dairy farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our dairy farm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in livestock production and management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for conducting artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock, as well as monitoring the calving process and treating livestock health issues.

As a Farm Operations Manager, you will also be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, as well as operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock
  • Monitor the calving process and treat livestock health issues

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong background in livestock production and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
