Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at Amandeep Thind. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical mobility and health.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a caregiving role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to work in an urban area and in the employer's/client's home.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment:

Our clients reside in urban areas, and the caregiver will work in the employer's/client's home. The work environment is non-smoking, and the caregiver must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Language:

The primary language spoken by our clients is English, and the caregiver must be fluent in English to communicate effectively.Work Schedule:

The caregiver will work 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our clients.
