Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP). This is a part-time regular position working 225 hours in an 8-week rotation with the opportunity for advancement.

About the Role

As an EMT, you will respond to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing assessment, treatment, and transportation of patients consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Saskatchewan College of Paramedics Clinical Practice Protocols, and established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency medical calls and provide patient care
  • Assess and treat patients using advanced life support skills
  • Transport patients to medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
  • Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP) certification
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working in emergency medical services

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $29,909 to $36,572 annually, depending on experience.
