About the Role
Spectrum Health Care is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Driver Companions. As a Driver Companion, you will play a vital role in providing social support and transportation services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport clients to various locations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
- Provide emotional reassurance, conversation, and socialization to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Assist clients with groceries, parcels, and other tasks, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to Spectrum Health Care management.
Requirements
- Valid G license with access to a reliable vehicle.
- Clear driver's abstract.
- Class 07 Rider certification (required as a condition of employment).
- Up-to-date immunization record, including a TB test.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Report.
- Compassionate and empathetic individual with a passion for helping others.
