Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Highway Engineering Assistant. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of highway engineering and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of highway construction projects
  • Perform technical work in surveying, material testing, and checking
  • Work collaboratively with a team to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of departmental procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety, Health and Risk Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience working outdoors and performing manual labor
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software package
  • Knowledge of departmental construction procedures and guidelines
