As a Customer Service Attendant with Qualico Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients with order pickups and returns, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and task lists as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the customer pick-up area and warehouse, adhering to Qualico's high standards.
- Verify packages for accuracy of material types and quantities prior to customer pickups, guaranteeing precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in loading and unloading products, and rotating stock in the warehouse as needed, promoting a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Work safely and ensure compliance with Qualico's Safety Program and relevant safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
- Offer support to other projects or duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
Work Environment
You will primarily work in the outdoor lumber yard during regular retail business hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards, as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required, but this will be discussed and agreed upon with your supervisor.
