Job Description

The Hakka Club is seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

About the Role

  • This position involves overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • You will be responsible for supervising a team of cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared efficiently and safely.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment is crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to maintain a smooth and productive kitchen workflow.
  • Create new recipes and menus to keep our dishes fresh and exciting.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure that all food safety and security protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a chef or kitchen manager.
