About the Role

In this role, you will work on small and large projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Your leadership skills will be essential in working with multi-discipline teams and guiding projects to successful outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee small and large projects, perform technical design tasks, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Provide technical leadership for civil-related projects and serve as Engineer-of-Record on several projects.
  • Manage project teams and financial performance of project budgets.
  • Develop client relationships and grow the business through account management and development duties.
  • Lead project coordination meetings and conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and those of peers.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia or ability to obtain EGBC registration.
  • Strong knowledge of civil systems, means, and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to lead teams and ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interview skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant discipline software programs.

Work Environment

This role is based in British Columbia, with opportunities for travel within the region. The typical office environment involves working with computers and at a desk for long periods of time, while fieldwork may involve exposure to the elements.
