  • Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Senior Combat Designer to join our team and help create industry-leading combat gameplay for our next project.
  • About the Role: As a Senior Combat Designer, you will work closely with our team to implement combat gameplay content in an immersive sandbox world. You will help solidify best practices and workflows conducive to consistency and deliverability of game content within your team.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Design and develop engaging combat gameplay experiences that meet the highest standards of quality and polish.
    2. Collaborate with other developers to build an FPS combat paradigm that is accessible, satisfying, and allows for a high degree of player expression and experimentation within a highly reactive world.
    3. Help build and refine the combat systems development and the gameplay framework for encounters.
    4. Participate in cross-pollination of ideas and sharing of knowledge amongst content creators.
    5. Support and mentor more junior designers in their career progression.
  • Requirements:
    1. Shipped one AAA title as a combat designer.
    2. Proven experience in executing an idea from concept to ship.
    3. Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
    4. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
    5. A desire to work in a closely collaborative environment.
    6. Knowledge of current game trends in technology.
