At Scotiabank, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Senior Investment & Personal Banking Specialist, you'll play a key role in providing trusted financial advice and customized financial solutions to help our customers achieve their goals.

About the role

You'll be responsible for delivering a full range of financial services, including financial planning, investment advice, and credit product sales. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with our customers and providing them with the guidance and support they need to make informed financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to customers
  • Sell credit products and other financial services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and financial products
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of our business

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in financial sales and advice
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • License to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent)

Language requirement

Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French because they will be required to work closely with other groups from head office who operate primarily in English and will serve an English and French-speaking clientele.
