About the Role

Lundbeck is seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Business Insights team, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate forecasts, providing data-driven insights to solve business challenges, and contributing to customer-centric commercial plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute market and product analyses to help commercial teams understand trends and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Design and implement thorough, meaningful, and insightful field force effectiveness analytics and sales performance reporting for the Sales team.
  3. Recommend Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and associated targets to assess sales and marketing execution based on the Strategic Direction of the brands and sales tactical plans.
  4. Provide recommendations to Marketing on Customer Segmentation and Customer Journey initiatives by analyzing primary and secondary data.
  5. Lead the development and accurate execution of Return On Investment analyses on pertinent initiatives.
  6. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence manager to ensure that meaningful Dashboards and automated reports are being delivered and support decision making for Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
  7. Contribute to the Annual brand planning by leveraging analytical expertise to help identify opportunities-threats to brand growth and answer strategic questions.
  8. Identify areas that could benefit from market research insights and feed this into marketing; contribute to brand team's identification of actionable insights from market research results.
  9. Collaborate with the rest of the Business Insights team in order to ensure best practice sharing, consistency, and standardization in analytics across brands and business units.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in analytics.
  • Experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry an asset.
Essential Skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manipulate large, multi-dimensional data sets to answer business questions and make recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations that story-tell with data.
  • Excellent working knowledge of IQVIA Services (TSA, CDH, GPM, Xponent, NBRx, Rx Dynamics, PharmaStat, FINDr, and OneKey) an asset.
  • High proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingualism French/English required (frequent communication with Global Headquarters and employees in the rest of Canada).
