Artistic Craftsman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Corvermex Designs Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with experience in preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
• Mix paint to the desired colour and texture.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Fluency in English.

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
