Role Description

As a Continuing Care Assistant or Continuing Care Assistant in Training, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide person-centered care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and documenting important information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients with their mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Document all interactions with clients, including concerns, progress notes, and incident reports.

Requirements

  • Current Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification is required.
  • Continuing Care Assistant certification program enrollment or completion of the CAD is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team setting.
