About the Role
This is an outside sales position that requires a strong understanding of the industrial sector, including construction, mining, and manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the heavy machinery and equipment industry, with a minimum of 3-7 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industrial sector
- Sell high-ticket machinery and equipment to customers in the construction, mining, and manufacturing sectors
- Meet or exceed sales targets and grow the territory
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in heavy machinery and equipment sales in the rental or dealership industry
- Background in business development, account management, prospecting, and full-cycle sales
- Strong understanding of the industrial sector, including construction, mining, and manufacturing
- Residing in the Greater Toronto Area or immediate plans to relocate
- Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
