About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Mattamy Homes. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for representing Mattamy as the first point of contact for prospective homebuyers, generating and following up on leads, and providing an exceptional home buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Mattamy Homes as the primary point of contact for prospective homebuyers, providing information on our products and services.
- Generate and follow up on leads, qualifying and educating buyers on our offerings.
- Provide an exceptional home buying experience by educating buyers on our communities, products, and services.
- Review site and floor plans, explain available options, and provide information on home features and pricing.
- Respond accurately and quickly to potential purchaser and homeowner inquiries.
- Ensure a successful sales process by qualifying all prospects and explaining Mattamy sales procedures.
- Commit to achieving sales-related business goals, attending meetings, and providing necessary follow-up.
- Achieve Customer Service performance goals.
- Assist in the supervision of Sales Assistants in daily responsibilities.
- Thoroughly understand and explain the Agreement of Purchase & Sale and related paperwork.
- Prepare, review, and enter homeowner information for purchase and sale agreements into the corporate database.
- Maintain market analysis and identify marketing strategies to meet sales goals.
- Attend staff and association meetings to stay informed of marketing conditions and legislation affecting the real estate industry.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to identify customer requirements.
- Adept at building trusting, professional relationships with prospective homebuyers.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive demeanor.
- Technological savvy with experience in MS Office and CRM applications.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Business-minded and knowledgeable in establishing and achieving sales goals.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of converting leads to sales.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibit the highest degree of honesty and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand construction, site, and floor plans.
