Arboriculture Labourer

Job Summary: Wright Canada Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an Arborist Labourer. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for career growth and advancement in the arboriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the crew with site maintenance and clean-up, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment, including trucks, woodchippers, and other machinery.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Perform site set-up and take-down, including unloading and loading equipment, setting up barriers and warning flags, and maintaining a clean and orderly site.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or higher.
• A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record, and an air brakes endorsement (if applicable).
• Ability to work as a crew member in a physically demanding environment.
• Motivated to work both independently and as a team member, with good time management skills.
• Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays, weekends, and storm work.
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates.
