About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at Project Roofing Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Pave and Rake Asphalt: Assist in paving and raking asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Assist in cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants at job sites.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Assistant, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and at heights. You will be required to work in various locations, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
  • Work Schedule: You will be required to work a regular 30-40 hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
